Trading Ideas: Interactive Brokers (IBKR:NAS), Brookfield Asset Mgmt (BAM:NYSE, BAM.TO), Chubb Corporation (CB:NYSE)
Disclaimer: I hold positions on IBKR and BAM.
Interactive Brokers has moved very nicely since my entry on Dec 4th, it’s up $ 2.59/share or 8.6%. I have received some emails asking about what was my clue for the entry. The clue is always volume and pattern. Look at the following chart. Huge volume spikes starting in Mid-October, some euphoria in late October and finally a confirmation in both Mid and Late November. I personally think the stock is still well positioned to continue up.
Brookfield Asset Management (BAM:NYSE or BAM:TSE) - This stock seems to be finally getting attention again. I first posted about this stock on Dec 5th here and it has appreciated $ 2.28 per share or 6.3% in only 5 days.
BAM.A-daily
BAM.A-weekly - the weekly chart shows the stock has a lot of room to grow IF breaks the $40 mark.
The Chubb Corporation (CB:NYSE) - This stock has been mentioned in this blog on Nov 14 ( here ) and since then it has appreciated about 6%. Still looks well positioned to continue it’s way up.

Congrats on your IBKR position, good call. I also think they’re well positioned to continue. I’ve been following your calls and they always have quality, very through. Love the TFG Score card. Thank you and keep it coming.
