One of my mistakes: Not holding long enough
I have to refine my exit strategy as I feel I have been leaving too much money on the table. Let’s look at some recent examples (please search the blog for the specific entries).
Brookfield Asset management (BAM) - sold it too soon. No RED bars in my system.
Wal-Mart (WMT) - sold too early, there was never a RED bar in my system.
Vale do Rio Doce (RIO) - this was a trickier one because of the pull-backs but could have held it longer.
Shoppers Drug Mart (SC.TO) - this one I’m beating myself up but still have chance to enter (and is actually a good entry after a small pullback)
