Hi Bsharp, I'm glad that your analysis is correlating with my own research.

The US market charts are showing a "dead cat bounce" in effect. The long term strategy of being long gold , short the dollar is still fundamentaly correct.

I see today Wachovia and the market is rallying, I'll be looking for a short on some of the US banks once a mini top is in place. Its expected that at least 100's of US banks will fail, possibley 1000's. More info see:
http://www.theinternationalforecaster.com/
(fundamental advice very accurate investing history)

http://www.stocktiming.com/Wednesday-DailyMarketUpdate.htm (T.A advice from highly respected analyst)

The SEC is now investigating those who 'down talk' the market, this just shows how sensitive the market is to a collapse, and how mainstream wall street brokers and media outlets shouldnt be trsuted for independant market advice.

Mathias - You are correct about my reasons being long term, however, I see this trade as a short term, looking to sell when (if) gold reaches $1,000-$1,100... perhaps I will decided to sell 1/2 at that point and keep the remainder at break-even... charts will tell. Regards.

Hi,
it woudl be great to see some T.A. of silver and gold here, personaly I find these isntrments difficult to analyze. This could be in part due to the deliberate selling of Gold by the central banks around the world. GATA is the grass roots organization who are tryign to prevent this intentional pushing down of Gold prices.

Excellent article that really goes to the crux of the issue. Did you find the Money Masters videos ok?

Kind regards
Peter.

A very good analysis again!
You have shown many facts which are pro gold rising.
But don´t forget that you can´t see into the future,
furthermore the facts are useful for midterm trader or investors, but are they for shortterm-trading?
Especially the one with the extraction of gold.
The probability is high that the gold price will rising, but it doesn´t promise that it will do so.
From March to June the price has dropping und has broken a stronger trendline, but why? I don´t know, there you had the same facts why gold should be rising.
And I don´t think that you want to be longer then a month into gold.
The goldchart looks like a wonderful saucer formation, but if I already told, nobody knows what will be tomorrow, you can only trade insecure probabilities ;-)
So be wakefully if the goldmarket will not do what you want!
Good luck to you!

Don´t be silly!
I think you are really excited about your last losses, so stand by your strategy and do not risk to much.
This is my advise.
It looks like you spend all of your money on gold.
Besides I really like your site, it is interesting and has a very good layout!

Hi there,
I was very excited to see the headline on this page!

Silver is also a sleeping giant, in times of uncertainty, money will flow into things of intrisic value. I'll be watching your trades closely and following them as it suits my plan. Thanks for the very informative TA lessons.

Could I recommend a really interesting documentary the Money Masters. Its on google video for free and other places. its a few years old but the material is quite relevant to today and explores indepth the octopus that is the FED amonst other things, and where the US economy is heading.

Hi, just as a suggestion, it'd be great to see some more Short stock pick suggestions. Given the current climate and recent down bars on the S&P, hikes in oil prices... a massive decline in share prices is not unreasonable according to some analysts.

Thanks for the site and all the suggestions, very helpful site.

Interesting idea, but I got some questions.

For instance, the first chart on this email WMT, at point 3 on you chart, how do you know is not "refuse to go up, so just short it"?

I mean, the question really is how do you know whether it is a true failed breakout (or reversal as some people call it) or just a temporary pull back?

I will appreciate it of you can send your reply by email.

Best,

Thanks for the tips. A close STOP is in place protecting profits (original buy and pyrammid buy) at 35.74

I pyrammided my position last week at 35.99.
Original buy 29.70, I liked your ideas, and the base formation.

That line you drew I'm looking at as support and the recent key formation has respected the line and shot up some more, so not all the bulls have fled the pen as yet :)
